Its been ages since we evolved from our bare necessities to luxuries. Strivinâ for basic needs food, shelter and clothinâ hardly accomplish menâs happiness to live on.
Thatâs very true, this place called earth has enough to fulfill the needs of men but, canât really afford all the luxuries of men. When insensitivity creeps in for essentialities while acknowledging superfluity only; the civilization is certainly headinâ towards devastation.
What is the key to life if hearts are dry and just money commands?
A subject so close to my heart. The most valuable things in life like air water and food is given free to us by nature. We strive after non valualbe things like gold diamonds shares and money. One has to differentiate between real value and economic value.
WOW Jacob that is nice though from u… I go with him Neha…
Hi ?( I don’t know your name 🙂 ), Interesting topic you have brought up. Once I went on a trek with a batch of very young children. Those 4 days, I was in wilderness – believe me, thick forests. I realised that the only thing man needs to live is water, food and peace of nature. 🙂
In those 4 days, I never realised that I am away from Bangalore( and the materialism ) and away from this software world. That tour changed quite a bit and I realised that I keep myself away from luxuries to a OK extent. Efforts are still on 🙂 I also realised that happiness in inside you and not anywhere else. It’s upto yourself if you discover it or not! 🙂
nice blog n i totally agree with u neha.
Well..the key lies in educating the next generation with good values..by some enlightened dudes to say of the current time..n use the visual mediums like the internet n television to the max..n spread the message of good values…this must help to some extent..
Jacob very true indeed, one should worth the real life.
Arun, thnx for your presence.
Shashank, nice to read ur exp buddy…well very true…there is no way to happiness…happiness is the way itself…thnx for sharin’ things at ur end.
Pradeep, thnx for ur presence.
Rusty, very nice thought…wht can we leave behind except our gud words and knowledge to next generation…hope it makes the diff.
“…hardly accomplish men’s happiness to live on…”
The day one feels that he accomplished, then the world stops thinking and moving forward.
Struggle comes from emptiness…it is the beginning for great thoughts and achievements…That is the whole spice of life!
“the civilization is certainly headin’ towards devastation.”
Certainly not…I believe the least in this philosophy !!!
Good blog Neha…
Chandra…I agree with ur comment on frst stat…but buddy u didn’t really read the sec part and commented on it hurriedly…
“When insensitivity creeps in for essentialities while acknowledging superfluity only; the civilization is certainly headin’ towards devastation.”
Sec part explains the outcome of frst part…devastation is headed for, when we jus acknowledge superfluity and frenzy in our life and become insensitive for essentialities.
Normally I don’t supplement my comment…now I am doing it for you…for mare clarity of thought…
“When insensitivity creeps in for essentialities while acknowledging superfluity only”—it is a ground reality and it happens whether you like it or not…so my comment was..even if it happens, the system is so accommodative that it will not devastate anything and still life moves on with modifications as required as per ground reality from time to time :>>>P
How about asking whats the key to life if i am too poor and filled in with love ? And yeah nobody cares to gimme money and i am too drained to drained out to work for food. should i die ?
Chandra, buddy its blown-outta-context again.
Piyush…tht’s wht I’m sayin’…I don know if I’m not able to make the air clear or rather soundin’ distant…the very essence of life revolves around the three basic necessities fud, shelter and clothin’…the prob creeps in when we stop acknowledging these necessities…instead get busy garnishin’ our life with luxuries…well as such no prob with such material accomplishments, as long as stupidity and madness does not entails with such luxuries .
Wow gr8 U said!!!!! 🙂
As some Noble Laureate said “we are suffering from the greediest century of human civilization” (I cannot call up the xact name and quote though)
Someday we eat money, love money, live money….no hope that this greed will fade…it’ll get worse day by day untill it get worst…and someone again has to bit the apple to get all started from the very begining….
Money is required; but Abundance, like Want ruins man…! I agree with Jacob on this one.
–Devi.
Whats up gal ? No more blogging ?
the lock is waxed.
Shumon, yep very truely said…I wish the greed for money is pacified and we gain better understandin’.
Devi, abundance makes man stupid and so is this happens.
Piyush, sorry I’m late again.
Dark Angel, no idea?
nice post.. in todays world the influence of money has become too great to ignore.. but whats worse is that money & material luxuries have replaced the very concept of happieness. while humans will live on in their never ending quest for money, the ‘civilization’ is certainly heading for extinction, for civilization is more abt human values & peacefull life than money.
yep hitman…gud u caught on this 🙂
