As the good old saying goes;
“Your ignorance is your bliss.
It is foolish to be wise”.

Many times, your ignorance about some unnecessary things
will give lot of peace of mind.
I read somewhere, “out of 99% of the issues people show interest,
most of them are none of their business”.

Is it not better to be ignorant of what is not concern for us and be happy ??!!

Yes, It is Chndra. I fully agree. I have personal stories of experiencing the fact that I will post someday.

Thanks,

Krishna I wud like u to pl. explain wht u meant to say thru ur comment.

Ranjit each of us can be loved for gud kind in us…but one can’t be ignored for stupidity every time.

Chandra its cool if we don delve into too much of everythin’…but being ignorant is somethin’ like invitin’ unawareness.

Rajit we all will wait for u to share those experiences one day.

Santhosh Thanks.

I’m referrin’ Innocence to child like Innocence and Ignorance to unawareness. More on this, its like keepin’ the child within us alive but still very much awared n well-informed to gain the pulse around.

🙂

On our childhood we was real innocence, was not known of anything else.

At adolcent we was innocence with ignoring the facts.

After being adult innocence is something we do to enjoy our pals, without ignoring the surrondings and results.

That’s Y, when we drive the car with enjoying video music, our eyes are on the LCD screen without failing our concentration on the road.

This shows our innocence, with staying away from our ignorance.

I think this example will do….

very well said Chandra…in fact most of the time people do show interest just to hide their ignorence..thats what I call Innocence..:) because ignorence is transparent and so is innocence.
And I too like these one-liner-style blogging.
Thanks

A 2 yr. old child (who doesnt know how dangerous King Cobra is) sees the snake and run towards it to play with it.

Is it Innocence or Ignorence??

Saumik innocense can’t be ignored;its somethin’ which shows up.

Kaustubh thanks for likin’ the blog n makin’ ur presence felt. Well if a child rushes to play with snake then she is ignorant n as soon as she finds the dangers to play with snake she overcums with her ignnorance.

Hi Neha,( I know your name now..:p)
There are many things of which a wise man may wish to be ignorant. And not to know certain things is a great part of wisdom. A wise man sees as much as he ought, not as much as he can.

ignorance is plain lack of knowledge.I can mean being illiterate, under educated, not skilled, primitive.
But innocence means Uncorrupted by evil, malice, or wrongdoing not knowing what is wrong. That is the major difference.
You can say innocent ppl are ingnorant about what is wrong, or the ways of the world and maybe not knowing what is a sin. The ignorance of and innocent person is only limited to evil and the above mentioned.
Wheras ignorant ppl are plain stupid. I never call someone ignorant if they dont know and ask about it and seek knowledge, rather i consider a person ignorant if he holds an adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand based on his lack of knowledge then only i consider a person ignorant.
Another example would be an innocent scientist, who has found a cure to aids/any other disease and gives the formula to a one of the pharmacutical companies without patenting it based on a promise to provide it free/lowpriced. the company then patents it and charges a fortune for the cure. The scientist here has to be the most knowledgable scientis to have found a cure. But he is innocent because he is only ignorant to the cheating and malice.
I think i just spoke(typed) too much….
I end here.
Nice topic though

innnocence bring ignorance…ignorance brings satisfaction…!
Mill SAYS ”I would like to be an unsatisfied Socretes ratehr then a satisfied Pig!”
The child has innocence out of ignorance..
The aim FOR SELF DEVELOPMENT SHOULD BE INNOCENCE THROUGH KNOWLEDGE.
Plan is keep childhood innocence intact while aquring the knowledge….and for that retrospection..corrections..improvement are needed…
innocence out of ignorance looks natural and beautiful but innocence through knowledge is cultural and charisma….
suggest to raed in detail the Life of Lord Krishna…..childhood and youth..how he has demonstarted the culture and charisma..is subject matter …as after all we do not grasp philosophy ..but we grasp the character…and learn philosphy through their life.(lecture ends LOL)
